We are looking for an Operational Manager of the Wastewater Treatment Plant for our Production department
Your mission:
As the operational manager of the wastewater treatment plant, you are at the heart of the value creation process. You contribute, together with other production staff, to CIMO’s success by treating the wastewater from the chemical site and the municipality of Monthey and processing the sludge produced, achieving the best from the facilities, individuals and other company functions.
Your activities:
- Optimally ensure the management of operations and that the operation of water and sludge treatment facilities complies with safety and environmental requirements
- Ensure proper planning of operations and its reliability in collaboration with the production team and support services
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations
- Ensure the establishment and monitoring of the operational team’s appropriate skills
- Keep operational documentation up to date
- Act as the interface with various internal and external partners
- Implement continuous improvement plans and corrective measures in case of deviations
You have:
- An engineering degree (EPFL or HES) or equivalent training
- Proven experience in an industrial environment in the field of water treatment
- A personality open to change and innovation, capable of taking initiatives and adapting to an evolving context
- Good communication and negotiation skills with our various partners
- The ability to overcome operational challenges, being action-, results- and continuous improvement-oriented
- The aptitude to organise resources, prioritise and make pragmatic decisions
- The ability to create a climate of trust, cooperation and respect for diversity
- The capacity to give meaning, unite around a collective project and mobilise teams
