What to expect
- Management of the main department Location Promotion in organizational, financial, and personnel terms
- Development, planning, and implementation of the location promotion program as well as the New Regional Policy (NRP)
- Leadership of strategic projects
- Consulting and maintenance of local companies as well as acquisition of national and international companies
- Maintaining contacts and public relations
What distinguishes you
- University or university of applied sciences degree in economics or law
- Several years of professional and leadership experience
- Experience and enjoyment in conceptual work and leading projects with subsequent implementation and further development/control
- Strong consulting and negotiation skills as well as diplomatic tact in dealing with authorities, business partners, and other stakeholders
- Good networking in the Eastern Swiss economy and politics
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
