Senior Accountant

About the job

The finance team consists of ten specialists and is responsible for the financial management of the company as well as ensuring all core processes in accounting. To strengthen our team in Baar (ZG), we are looking for a Senior Accountant to start immediately or by arrangement. In this role, you will be jointly responsible for financial accounting including the preparation of financial statements according to OR and IFRS, handle complex tax issues, and contribute your expertise in liquidity and financial planning.

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting

You bear overall responsibility for the financial accounting of a subsidiary in the media sector. In addition, you are jointly responsible for managing the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting of Red Bull AG. You actively participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local GAAP (OR) and IFRS and are involved in both internal and external audits.

Professional Leadership of Accounts Receivable

You take on the professional leadership of the accounts receivable department, coordinate work assignments and additional tasks, and work operationally in day-to-day business.

Liquidity and Financial Planning

You are well versed in liquidity planning, supporting financial planning, budgeting, and commenting on financial key figures. The preparation of meaningful analyses and evaluations rounds off this area of responsibility.

Taxes / Projects

You handle various tax topics, independently manage projects in the finance area, and act as a contact person for internal stakeholders.

Profile:

• Successfully completed federal specialist certificate in finance & accounting and several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Very good SAP knowledge as well as confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Flexible, communicative, proactive, and team-oriented personality with an independent, precise, and structured working style; you critically question results
• Business fluent German skills as well as good oral and written English skills
