Your Tasks
In this responsible position, you take on the operational responsibility for facility maintenance at the Domicil Competence Centre Bethlehemacker. You will be supported by one employee as well as the Head of Facility Maintenance Lebensraum Bern West. You are responsible for the sustainable preservation of the buildings, ensure the operation and maintenance of technical systems, and ensure a professional appearance of the property. In your role as Safety Officer, you ensure the implementation and compliance with all relevant legal regulations. You support the cross-site facility maintenance team Lebensraum Bern West and regularly take on on-call duties. In the context of the replacement new build, varied and demanding tasks await you in the coming years. These include, in particular, coordinating the move, commissioning the interim site, and accompanying the construction project for a modern dementia centre. The position is suitable for experienced professionals as well as motivated junior staff with development potential. However, higher vocational training is mandatory.
Your Profile
- Facility Maintenance Specialist with Federal VET Diploma or basic craft training with Federal VET Diploma
- Professional examination as caretaker with federal diploma or similar
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment advantageous
- Training as Safety Officer (SiBe)
- Efficient and careful working style
- Flexibility and resilience
- Understanding and empathy for elderly people
- High customer orientation
- Organisational talent
