Quality Engineer (m/f/d), 80-100%
This is your job
- Independently handling, analysing, and consistently advancing internal and external quality cases as well as cross-departmental quality projects
- Conducting structured root cause analyses and developing sustainable solutions using methods such as 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, and Root Cause Analysis
- Further developing, harmonising, and implementing site-wide quality assurance processes and quality standards
- Analysing existing workflows and initiating and implementing improvements in quality assurance and quality control
- Supporting production areas in stabilising processes, reducing quality costs, and preventing recurring errors
- Further developing the KPI system to evaluate quality performance, early detection of deviations, and monitoring ongoing measures; mapping and continuously optimising processes, interfaces, and responsibilities in the quality management system
- Close collaboration with production sites in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and China as well as with claim management, production, development, and procurement
- Planning and conducting internal quality and process audits as well as consistently following up on corrective and preventive actions until effectiveness is proven
What you bring
- Completed technical studies at least at Bachelor FH or university level, preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, production engineering, or a comparable field
- Further training in quality management, for example CAS or MAS, is an advantage
- Several years of practical experience in quality management or quality engineering, preferably in an industrial production environment with high manufacturing depth
- Sound knowledge of systematic problem-solving and quality methods, such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5-Why, or Ishikawa
- Experience in improving and sustainably implementing quality and production processes
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary thinking skills as well as high technical problem-solving competence
- Assertive and communicative personality with an independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
- Experience in leading cross-departmental projects and dealing with different stakeholders
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience with internal or external audits
