The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In education under the direction of Ms Sarah Tihanyi, Ms Sandra Widmer is seeking a Health Specialist in Training for the Psychiatric Centre location in Herisau from 01.08.2027.
Your tasks
- Supporting and accompanying patients in daily life organisation, establishing and maintaining daily structure, daily personal care, and in challenging situations
- Performing delegated therapeutic and diagnostic tasks such as monitoring vital signs, blood sampling, preparing and administering medication, etc.
- Carrying out administrative tasks
- Cleaning and disinfection work, as well as housekeeping and kitchen duties
