Software Test Engineer

Your area of responsibility and design

Planning, specification, execution, and documentation of test cases in the agile development process
You develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality
Close collaboration with test managers, developers, software testers, and product owners to optimize the test strategy
Identification, analysis, and tracking of errors and their causes
You ensure that test coverage across various components is guaranteed
Support with release tests and production-like acceptances

What you should bring

Solid knowledge in test automation and test frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Playwright)
You have experience with manual and automated tests as well as their integration into CI/CD pipelines
You handle testing tools like JIRA, Xray, or TestRail confidently
Knowledge of programming languages for test automation (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Java)
Performance and load testing are not new to you
You routinely apply agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban in practice and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams to achieve fast and high-quality results
Completed training as a software engineer (HF, FH, ETH) with at least three years of experience in object-oriented software development with C# and .NET
Ideally, several years of professional experience in software testing
ISTQB certification as well as methodological and practical experience in software testing and test automation
Fluent German and good English skills
