Your Trainee ProgramIn our trainee program, you have the chance to gain diverse experience in our in-house trading department. You build expertise, make contacts, and can help shape our core business.
During 20 months, you will complete about three to four varied assignments and get to know the diverse areas of trading:
In the Capital Markets team, you accompany issuers from the Corporates, Public Sector, and Financials areas in bond transactions on the Swiss capital market. You support market analyses, pricing considerations, and client presentations and contribute to the implementation of new issues from structuring to placement with institutional investors.
In Securities Finance, you gain insight into securities lending and repo transactions as well as the active management of securities portfolios and collateral. You assist in identifying and executing trading opportunities as well as in sourcing and distributing securities for internal and external clients. You learn the connection between securities trading, collateral management, and the bank's liquidity and risk management.
Foreign exchange and precious metals trading shows you the dynamic daily business of the global currency and precious metals markets. You support the team in trading foreign exchange and precious metal products and become a competent contact for internal counterparties (BKB/Bank Cler) on market and hedging topics.
In Liquidity Management, you work on the bank's operational liquidity management and gain insight into daily cash management across various markets, currencies, and counterparties. You also conclude money market and repo transactions and execute FX swap deals on the market. You have direct contact with our liquidity providers and work closely with other trading and treasury teams.
