Your tasks
As a cultural mediator, you are part of the Mediation and Communication department of the KUB, which is particularly responsible for organising cultural events as well as the training and leadership programme. The department also positions itself as a competence centre dedicated to the challenges of the information society and the mediation of information literacy.
- Contribute to organising the biannual programme for cultural and scientific mediation of the KUB, especially in the German-speaking area
- Collaborate in the conception and implementation of exhibitions entrusted to the Mediation and Communication department
- Develop and contribute to the training and leadership programme
- Write or translate into German the texts produced by the department
Desired profile
- Bachelor’s degree in cultural mediation or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of solid experience in cultural mediation for adults
- Ability to integrate into a small team, initiative, independence and organisational talent
- Confident presence at public events and proficiency in using common IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, possibly InDesign or Resolve)
- Perfect command of the German language with good knowledge of French (B1-B2)
