Field Service Technician (m/f/d) Bioprocess Technology, 60–100 %
Your Role
As a service technician, you are an important part of our promise as a bioprocess technology partner: you combine sound technical knowledge with personal support and ensure that our customers can use their systems safely, efficiently and reliably.
Your Tasks
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, retrofitting, calibration and repair of bioreactor systems at customer sites or via remote support
- Performing software and firmware installations and updates, integrating systems into the customer network. Support with fault diagnosis in device communication and network connections, especially TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnets, LAN/Ethernet
- Independent planning and coordination of your assignments including maintaining documentation of service calls and SAT, IQ and OQ activities as well as spare parts orders.
- Development and implementation of customer-specific technical solutions, including special parts and individual system adaptations.
- Close cooperation with customers, suppliers as well as our sales and application teams
Your Profile
- Completed technical basic training (EFZ), e.g. as an electronics technician, automation technician, polymechanic, mechatronics technician or comparable; further training as a technician HF is an advantage
- Experience in technical service or field service, ideally with laboratory, analysis or medical technology
- Good understanding of electronics, mechanics and measurement and control technology
- Good knowledge of network technology (TCP/IP, IP addressing, LAN, switches) and Windows environments; experience with remote maintenance and industrial protocols (e.g. OPC, Modbus) is an advantage
- Very good German and good English skills (manufacturer contact is in English); French skills are a plus
- Enjoy solving technical problems with an independent, reliable working style
- Enjoy working in laboratory and cleanroom environments and complying with the associated safety, hygiene and documentation regulations.
- Enjoy regular customer visits, especially in the Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zurich regions; driving licence category B, residence in the Mittelland region.
- Willingness to attend training and assignments at the manufacturer in European countries
