The Swiss Wine Trade Control is an ISO-accredited inspection body located in close proximity to Zürich-Stettbach railway station (Dübendorf/ZH). It inspects vintners and wine trade businesses in Switzerland on behalf of the federal government. To complement the team, we are looking for a

Inspector Wine Trade Control (80-100%)

Your tasks

• Inspection of businesses in the wine sector (cellar and financial accounting)
• Application of relevant legal frameworks (cantonal, national and international law)
• Conformity checks of wines and wine products regarding geographical origin and traceability
• Verification of plausibility of wine designations and drafting of inspection reports

Your profile

• Master craftsman certificate or Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: food/beverage industry, viticulture and wine trade, or several years of experience in inspection with solid accounting knowledge
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Knowledge in the wine sector is an advantage
• Your mother tongue is French or German with very good knowledge of the other national language
• You appreciate daily contact with business managers and are able to demonstrate objectivity, composure, discretion and diplomacy
• You possess excellent communication skills and are service-oriented
• You show a high degree of self-organisation and are extremely flexible
• Your working style is characterised by independence and efficiency, as well as accuracy and highest quality
• A good sense of numbers and processes is indispensable
