One-year internship as a CFC commercial employee with professional maturity (3+1) at the Cantonal Population Service

- The SCPO is responsible for activities related to: lawyers, mediators and notaries; the collection of judicial debts; identity documents; naturalisation; civil status supervision and resident control.
As part of your internship, you will spend 6 months in the identity documents sector and 6 months in the judicial fees sector.
During your internship, you will enter administrative and biometric data enabling the issuance of Swiss passports and identity cards as well as residence permits, travel documents and visas for foreigners. You will handle requests at the counter, by telephone and via the Internet, and collect the corresponding fees.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for invoicing and collecting fines and judicial fees resulting from convictions pronounced by the Judiciary, whether by penal orders or judgments. In addition, you will ensure the collection of legal aid and mediation fees. You will be in direct contact with debtors, both at the counter and by telephone.
Finally, you will draft correspondence and perform various administrative tasks.
Enrolled in the commercial professional maturity programme in economics and services, you are looking for an internship placement.
You have good writing skills and are comfortable with IT tools. Organised, versatile and meticulous in carrying out your tasks, you also show initiative, punctuality and discretion. Moreover, you are responsible and able to work both in a team and independently.
Additionally, you have a clean criminal record.
Finally, knowledge of the English language is an additional asset.
