The Music and Education Pension Fund, based in Basel, was founded in 1978 by the Association of Music Schools Switzerland. Today, it comprises around 9,000 pension relationships, mainly at approximately 300 music schools. All income is insured from the first franc.

Your main tasks

• Operational overall responsibility for the pension foundation
• Management of pension fund affairs in compliance with legal requirements and regulations
• Leadership and organisation of a small team with two employees, including own involvement in administrative-operational tasks
• Service-oriented contact and information person for employers, insured persons, beneficiaries, auditors and foundation supervision
• Implementation of the resolutions of the board of trustees, with an advisory role in the investment committee and execution of its resolutions
• Collaboration with all interfaces

Your profile

• Qualification as a certified pension fund manager or an equivalent qualification in social insurance with a focus on occupational pension provision
• Several years of successful practical experience in a leadership position in occupational pension provision with corresponding leadership competence
• High social competence for goal-oriented, appreciative and service-oriented management of the operation
• Strong communication skills to explain complex matters simply and appropriately for the target audience • Knowledge in the area of disability insurance
• French and Italian language skills are an advantage
