Responsibilities
As an electronics technician for operational technology, you are a very important part of the well-functioning railway traffic. Because thanks to you, our trains can run and our passengers arrive safely and quickly at their destination.
From 01.09.2027 we are looking for you for the 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operational technology (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO at the Basel location. The vocational school is located in Freiburg (Breisgau).
What to expect in your training:
You work outside in the track network together with your team
During your training, you familiarise yourself with the maintenance and repair of control and safety technology, such as signals, point motors and level crossings
In addition, as an electronics technician for operational technology, you learn to analyse and eliminate faults in operational technology
You will also be taught knowledge of measurement, testing and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications
Your profile:
You have (soon) successfully completed school and your school leaving certificate is recognised in Germany
Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 language level
You enjoy maths and physics
You are handy and like tinkering with electronic components
You are definitely a team player and reliable
In addition, you like to work independently
