Clerk Tax Office 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
Work preparation (AVOR) forms a central hub in the tax office and ensures well-coordinated processes between the internal departments. The AVGE (AVOR areas) is responsible for the operational implementation in its area of responsibility and contributes significantly to the stability and quality of AVOR. Together with the team, you ensure efficient and well-structured processes in the tax office.
Your tasks
- You check incoming documents and prepare them for the next process steps.
- In doing so, you record and update data in our systems and ensure that the information is correctly stored.
- You clarify matters with internal departments and ensure smooth information flow.
- Even with several cases running in parallel, you keep an overview and work in a structured and reliable manner.
- You maintain the specified quality and contribute to a reliable process flow with your careful working method.
- You learn to use our digital applications confidently and use them daily in your work.
Your profile
- You have a commercial education (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of public administration or tax matters is a plus.
- You are committed, reliable, and communicate clearly.
- You quickly recognize connections and have a pronounced analytical way of thinking.
- You feel confident in the IT environment, enjoy working with digital applications, and navigate networked systems proficiently.
- You approach problems in a structured way and find pragmatic solutions.
- You bring quick comprehension, eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and perseverance, even with repetitive tasks.
- Very good German skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
