Carpentry Practitioner for Restoration Work on Historic Wooden Floors
Tasks
- Restoring and refurbishing historic wooden floors
- Carrying out repairs and creating precisely fitting patches
- Professionally replacing damaged wooden sections with regard to the original material
- Performing traditional carpentry and restoration work on historic objects
- Assisting with the restoration of doors, wall, and ceiling panelling
Requirements
- Completed carpentry apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or equivalent experience
- Interest or experience in restoration craft and historic techniques
- Precise craftsmanship skills with a good sense for wood and materials
- Independent, careful, and quality-oriented working style
- Enthusiasm for the protection and care of listed buildings
