Job Description
In a constantly evolving environment, our Pension Fund ensures rigorous application of the legal and regulatory framework of occupational pension provision.
To strengthen our legal expertise, we are looking for a Legal Officer who will actively contribute to securing our activities, supporting operational sectors and promoting our institutional know-how.
Your mission:
You guarantee regulatory compliance and legal security of CIEPP’s activities. As such, you put your expertise at the service of the institution’s various sectors, support strategic projects and contribute to defending the Fund’s interests.
Your main tasks:
- Ensure continuous legal monitoring in occupational pension provision, analyse legal and case law developments, and ensure their integration into CIEPP’s practices, procedures and documents.
- Provide legal advice to the various sectors of CIEPP, draft legal opinions, positions and recommendations to secure the Fund’s decisions and activities.
- Analyse individual situations and determine entitlement to disability and death benefits in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory and statutory provisions.
- Handle and follow up on contentious files and legal proceedings, notably by drafting the necessary pleadings.
- Coordinate exchanges with external legal counsel and authorities to ensure consistency of positions defended by CIEPP.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by training staff and leading specialised presentations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and organisational developments, notably in the fields of information systems, artificial intelligence and benefit development, by providing legal expertise adapted to CIEPP’s challenges and ensuring compliance of implemented solutions.
Profile sought
Your qualifications:
- Master’s degree in law (bar admission an asset).
- Federal diploma in social insurance or occupational pension provision, or proven experience and expertise in occupational pension provision and social insurance.
- Proficiency in German.

- Excellent writing skills as well as analysis, synthesis and simplification abilities.
