The municipality of Urdorf offers a wide range of sports and recreational facilities. This includes our central facility Spitzacker with a multipurpose hall and indoor swimming pool. To work in this operation and support the team, we are looking for a reliable, friendly, and team-oriented person to start immediately or by arrangement
- You ensure the smooth operation as well as the monitoring, maintenance, and servicing of the technical systems
- You are responsible for cleaning the entire central facility including the indoor pool, double gymnasium, and all ancillary rooms and perform simple repairs if needed
- You supervise the swimming operation and provide rescue and first aid services
- You handle the cash register and ensure correct and proper cash management
- You competently and friendly assist our swimming guests and are responsible for the sale of swimming articles
- You work closely with various user groups such as clubs, schools, and other institutions
- Planning and execution of assignments at irregular working hours, on weekends, and on-call duty
- You have a technical-craft training background and several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with experience in building technology and sanitary systems
- You have good spoken German skills
- You hold a recognized lifeguard certification (Swiss Lifeguard Certificate or SLRG PRO Pool Certificate including BLS-AED), with proof of training not older than two years
- You enjoy contact with people – you present yourself openly, friendly, and helpful
- You remain resilient, organized, and assertive even in demanding situations
