Specialist Interpreter Service with Focus on Quality and Development (60–70%)
Join us in promoting a solidarity-based coexistence.
In cooperation with the cantons, municipalities, and social insurances, we offer an intercultural interpreter service alongside various services for the unemployed in our operations. We provide interpreting services in 43 languages related to conversations at schools, medical consultations, and in the social sector. We are now looking for a person to join our team as
Specialist Interpreter Service with Focus on Quality and Development (60–70%)
In this role, you will support our services in daily operations and simultaneously develop them further. We see you as an ambassador of our interpreter service: You make our offer visible, actively bring it to the public, and take note of our clients' needs. For this, you will use your good network in Central Switzerland purposefully.
Your tasks start with the coordination of interpreting assignments, where your customer-oriented attitude and quality awareness are appreciated. Your conceptual thinking, sometimes completely "out of the box," leads to new offers and the further development of existing and proven ones. Your understanding that business objectives and a social mission are not opposites is important.
We are transforming our structure into a role-based organization. This creates exciting new opportunities and forms of collaboration. For all of us, this means that openness to change is as important as decisiveness, independence, and interest in contributing to new solutions. And – we must be able to endure unclear situations for a limited time. Your field of responsibility will gain additional scope through taking on responsible roles, such as Circle Lead, Strategy Link, in quality assurance, or as HR Link.
You are well equipped for these tasks with a tertiary degree in social work, business administration, or social sciences. Your experience in supporting migrants facilitates your access to all the questions that arise in connection with intercultural mediation and interpreting in this area. Your interest in business-related issues rounds off your profile.
As you can see, you will find a varied field of tasks with us that you manage independently and where you can fully utilize your proven professional experience in the mentioned areas as well as your conceptual and communication skills.
If these tasks appeal to you, you enjoy contributing to a motivated team, and you are enthusiastic about the goals of our organization, then you should apply with us!
In the role of HR Link in our interpreter service, I am happy to answer your questions about this position.
