The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL is one of the world’s leading research institutions in the field of organic farming and employs around 300 staff at its Swiss location. In the Department of Finance & Infrastructure, we are looking for a qualified person to start immediately or by arrangement

Facility Management & Operational Safety Specialist (80–100%)

What we expect

• Technical support of various infrastructure components such as heat generation, electrical systems, ventilation systems, fire alarm systems, refrigeration systems, etc.
• Independent completion of repair and maintenance work, including documentation
• Organisation, coordination and inspection of external maintenance and repair work, obtaining quotes and checking work reports
• Support of occupational safety and health (SiBe)
• Transport of persons to and from Frick SBB train station

What you bring

• Completed vocational training in a craft profession (specialising in building services engineering), preferably in the electrical sector
• Driving licence category D1
• Further training as a maintenance specialist or several years of experience in these areas is desirable
• Strong affinity for building services engineering and digital systems
• Proficient MS Office skills
• Languages: German (native), English skills are an advantage
• Independent, reliable and flexible personality with enthusiasm for agricultural topics
