Apprenticeship IT Specialist EFZ Application Development (Start 2026)

The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces, and markets pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical, food industry, and cell or DNA research.
This is what you can achieve:
As an application developer, you usually work in a team with other professionals. You assess the problem, develop possible solution proposals, and highlight their advantages and disadvantages. Then it is about implementing or programming the optimal solution and testing it thoroughly before it is introduced. You analyze problems and create solution proposals using IT tools. You program software applications, test them, and adapt them if necessary. You train users so they can use the new software. You document solutions and adjustments in a manual.
