An estimated half a million people live in Switzerland with a rare disease. Nevertheless, nationally available data on diagnoses, disease courses, therapies, and the needs of those affected are still lacking. However, this information is crucial to improve care and to advance research in a targeted manner. This is where the Swiss Registry for Rare Diseases comes in. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med.
