Senior Software Developer – IoT & Production Systems

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer – IoT & Production Systems for our location in Dietlikon immediately.

Your Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of software solutions for IoT connectivity of production systems

• Design and realization of software architectures for complete systems (PLC / HMI / SCADA / MES)

• Connection of database systems and integration into existing IT infrastructures

• Application of modern software development methods (Test-driven Design, CI/CD, V-Model)

• Close collaboration with the engineering, automation, and IT teams to develop seamless end-to-end solutions

• Participation in the agile development process and taking on responsibility within interdisciplinary project teams

• Support in analyzing system requirements and creating technical specifications

You bring the following qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, automation technology, or a comparable qualification

• Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Python or C#

• Experience in developing software solutions in an industrial environment, ideally related to production systems

• Familiarity with automation systems (e.g., PLC, HMI, SCADA) and their interfaces

• Knowledge in database connection and integration

• Structured and solution-oriented working style with a focus on code quality and modularity

• Experience with agile methods and basic knowledge in requirement engineering

• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
