Facade Builder – Ventilated Facade Area
Activities
- Installation of suspended, ventilated facade systems
- Measurement work on facades with laser devices
- Preparation of material lists and support in material disposition
- Control and inspection of material deliveries
- Creation and installation of substructures (wood-wood, wood-metal, metal-metal)
- Execution of sealing work
- Installation of components such as lintels, window sills, and frames
- Performing insulation work with EPS and mineral wool
- Installation of various facade claddings such as fiber cement boards, synthetic resin boards, natural slate, wood shingles, ceramics, or plaster carrier boards
Requirements
- Completed training as a polybuilder EFZ, carpenter EFZ, building tinsmith EFZ, or metalworker EFZ
- Understanding of construction processes and their implementation on the construction site
- Knowledge of common materials such as Eternit, aluminum, natural slate, or wood
- Basic knowledge of building physics is an advantage
- Familiar with standards as well as measurement and execution regulations
- Quality-conscious and cost-oriented working method
- Resilience, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
- High sense of responsibility and willingness to learn
