Production Expert (m/f/d) - Chemical Technologist / Pharma / GMP / Manufacturing of Sterile Drugs / German

Project: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Production Expert (m/f/d).

As a Production Expert, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the CoRE (Compounding, Raw Materials, Equipment) production area within Sterile Filling.

The perfect candidate: has completed training as a pharmaceutical or chemical technologist and more than three years of experience in GMP-compliant manufacturing of sterile drug products. He has a strong technical understanding and is experienced in using highly automated production systems and IT systems such as MES, SAP and warehouse management systems. He is also flexible, works reliably in shifts and communicates confidently and fluently in German.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the timely manufacture of product solutions used to produce commercial, sterile biologics products, for example liquid vials and syringes.
• Operating the production equipment, as well as weighing and checking raw materials to ensure that the manufactured batches contain the correct ingredients and quantities.
• Carrying out in-process testing (IPC) of the manufactured product solution to ensure that the batches meet specifications.
• Supporting the validation of processes directly linked to manufacturing, including cleaning and sterilization.
• Documenting activities according to GMP requirements.
• Ensuring a cleanroom environment that complies with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
• Implementation of process improvements and adaptation of specification documents using LPS tools.

Must-Haves:
• Completed vocational training as a pharmaceutical or chemical technologist or comparable training (pharmaceutical/technology/mechanics/automation).
• At least 3 years of experience in the manufacture of sterile pharmaceuticals and experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment (work/documentation).
• Good technical understanding and skills in handling highly automated production systems or confident and experienced handling of IT systems (MES, Google applications, warehouse management systems, SAP, plant control systems).
• Willingness to work in a shift model and be on-call
• Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite.
