Introduction
APF Advanced Particle Filters GmbH is an internationally active company with locations in Salzburg and Sursee. We develop and produce high-quality fine dust filters for biomass heating systems from 100 to 6,500 kW: from standard solutions to customised filter systems. To strengthen our team in Switzerland, we are looking for an assembly and service technician (m/f/d) who installs our APFenergyFilter™ at customers' sites and services existing systems. You will work independently, travel internationally, and be supported by our experienced technical and back office team. Your assignments usually start directly from your place of residence in Switzerland; our Sursee location serves, among other things, as a spare parts warehouse and contact point.
Your Responsibilities
- Assembly of our filter systems on site at the customer’s premises based on technical drawings and assembly plans
- Maintenance, repair, and service work on existing APF filter systems
- Troubleshooting and fault rectification as well as replacement of spare and wear parts
- Technical support for our customers on site
- Close coordination and cooperation with our technical and back office team
- Documentation of the work and repairs carried out
Your Profile
- Technical background in the mechanical field through training or relevant professional experience, e.g. in machine/plant assembly, commercial vehicle (agricultural) machinery, or comparable technology
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering and experience in machine/plant construction or technical service are advantageous
- Confident handling of technical drawings and assembly plans
- Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style as well as a professional appearance with customers
- Willingness to undertake regular, including multi-day, assignments in Switzerland and other European countries
- Driving licence category B and residence in Switzerland
- Good knowledge of German; French and English skills are advantageous
