The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partner institution, funded by the Canton and municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural, and associative field actions carried out by centers and outreach teams, the Foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social exclusion.
Within the TSHM Satigny action, in a small team composed of 2 animators, 1 socio-educational assistant, and monitors, a position of 20% social secretary is open for application.
Job Description
- Assume the internal organization of the team's secretariat, assisting the team leader: coordinating activities, processing and providing information, managing files and registrations;
- Handle various secretarial tasks: correspondence, notes, minute-taking, statistics, deadlines, logistics, supplies, managing the appointment calendar, external communication tools (flyers, website, monthly and activity reports) and small accounting (cash management and tickets submitted by the team);
- Compile, verify, and utilize files, ensure the follow-up of the filing and archiving system;
- Assist the team in various administrative tasks, notably in connection with the FASe general secretariat: billing activities and their follow-up, team attendance management, monitor budget management, monitor schedules and small jobs;
- Collaborate with multiple multidisciplinary partners: animation team, managers, volunteers, regional coordinator, other FASe locations, local and Geneva social network, and members of municipal administrations.
Qualifications
- Possess a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification, with similar professional experience;
- Interest in working with youth, in a setting offering both very varied and decentralized activities;
- Ease in human relations with diverse audiences: youth, families, municipalities, partners;
- Excellent writing skills, recognized competence in minute-taking and layout;
- Proficiency in computer tools, experience in database management;
- Ability to manage small accounting;
- Ability to work independently, take useful and appropriate initiatives for the smooth running of the team, in close connection with its leaders;
- Sense of responsibility, good organizational, planning, and emergency management skills;
- Ability to function in an open-space professional environment;
- Good knowledge of the Geneva social system, the functioning of FASe, and the municipalities.
Additional Information
- Salary according to the Geneva State salary scale: maximum class 11.
- Driving license important.
