Officer in Charge
Public Prosecutor's Office / 80-100% / Samedan
With its 71 employees, the Public Prosecutor's Office is an independent body both functionally and materially within the criminal justice administration. It conducts criminal investigations against adults and minors in cases of crimes, offenses, and violations and must enforce the state's punitive claims. The main office of the Public Prosecutor's Office is located in Chur. It has branch offices in Davos, Ilanz, Roveredo, Samedan, and Thusis.
We are looking for an officer in charge for the Public Prosecutor's Office starting July 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Cooperation in criminal investigations
- Drafting interrogation reports and preparing memoranda and various decisions
- Handling criminal cases related to violations according to the Swiss Code of Criminal Procedure under the direction of a public prosecutor
- Performing various secretarial tasks in close contact with different offices, services, and courts
- Completed basic commercial training (business school or commercial apprenticeship) and several years of professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of German and Italian, both spoken and written
- Clean criminal record
- Autonomy, reliability, and speed as well as the ability to work in a team, discretion, flexibility, and a high capacity to handle stressful situations
- Familiarity with the most common IT tools
- Other language skills
