Portrait of the School/Institution

The Special Education School Lyss is a day school for children and young people with intellectual or multiple disabilities. We teach around 115 pupils in 18 classes (from primary to upper and orientation levels) aged between 4 and 18 years.

Psychomotor treatment of children and young people with special needs Therapeutic assessment Implementation of psychomotor support offers in individual settings and small groups Collaboration, especially with the existing PMT therapist Documentation (support diagnostic reporting, administrative tasks) Organisation of the therapy offer (waiting list management, maintenance of therapy materials)

Requirements

Recognised training in psychomotor therapy (or nearing completion of training) Enjoyment of the challenges of everyday school life Commitment to pupils with clinical support needs Practical experience in psychomotor work with children and young people Resilience and positive communication skills Close collaboration with teachers and specialists in the context of comprehensive support High ability to work in a team and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation
