Project Manager Gas and Water Supply

Your challenge:

• Technical responsibility for the safe and reliable operation of our gas and water networks in compliance with the applicable SVGW guidelines
• Planning and coordination of maintenance, renovation, and investment work on our supply networks
• Management of exciting special projects, such as reservoir renovations, protection zone delineations, or projects in the area of fire water supply
• Planning and coordination of construction projects within our own supply area as well as on behalf of external customers and municipalities
• Preparation of tenders and submissions for gas and water pipeline projects
• Competent advice and support for our external customers and partners with a service- and solution-oriented attitude
• Coordination of the involved companies, specialist offices, and internal teams as well as ensuring a smooth project process
• Organisation of the required resources and materials as well as control of work reports and site billing
• Regular assumption of on-call duties to ensure gas and water supply

What you bring with you:

• Completed technical or craft basic training, ideally in the field of sanitation, heating, pipeline construction, or a comparable discipline
• Solid and several years of experience in gas and water supply as well as ideally experience in planning and managing pipeline construction projects
• Knowledge of the applicable SVGW guidelines
• Organisational talent, an independent and structured way of working, as well as a good sense of costs, deadlines, and quality
• Enjoyment in contact with people and a pronounced service orientation
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
• Willingness to take on on-call duties and a place of residence from which you can reach our supply area within 30 minutes in case of an incident
• Category B driving licence mandatory
