Who are we?
The Justice of the Peace is the Child and Adult Protection Authority. As such, it acts on request or ex officio. At the end of the investigation, a decision is made whether or not to establish a protection measure. The Justice of the Peace also has jurisdiction in inheritance matters and in the area of bans.

Your tasks
- Drafting decisions in civil matters, particularly in child and adult protection
- Participation in sessions of the Child and Adult Protection Authority and taking minutes of hearings
- Support to the registry: contacting the persons concerned and their relatives, partners of the Justice of the Peace, notably by providing legal support to professional and private curators and other services
- Information and advice to third parties
- Legal research
- Case follow-up and preparation of administrative correspondence
Desired profile
- University degree in law (Master of Law or Bachelor but completed university studies)
- Good writing skills, excellent spelling, autonomy, stress resistance and team spirit
- Communication skills, organisational sense and ease in contacts
- Good computer skills
- Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language
