Plastechnik AG is an established specialist in the manufacture of injection moulds and in the production of sophisticated plastic parts in high volumes, which are used worldwide. The company is based in Bösingen (FR) and employs around 40 staff.

To strengthen our toolmaking department, we are looking for a Polymechanic m/f immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the manufacture of complex and precise individual tool parts for our injection moulding tools
• You operate and monitor our equipment, especially our new wire and sinker EDM machines including automation
• You create programmes in our CAD/CAM software for our modern manufacturing machines
• You monitor and check the quality of the manufactured individual parts and share responsibility for meeting delivery deadlines
• You carry out finishing and assembly work on new tools
• You actively assist in optimising machining processes

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training as a polymechanic or an equivalent mechanical basic training and have several years of experience in wire and sinker EDM
• Ideally, you have professional experience as a toolmaker
• You have good IT skills
• You work systematically and precisely
• You are reliable and have a high sense of responsibility
• You are motivated to lead a team of 2-3 employees
