NEOVIVA is a private medical-psychotherapeutic facility on Lake Lucerne. We treat an international clientele with addiction disorders and often complex comorbid mental illnesses in an exclusive setting. Our treatment offering is conducted entirely in English. Our clients predominantly come from a professionally and socially demanding environment and seek discreet, individualised, and professionally sound treatment. We work in a small setting with a deliberately limited number of clients and pursue a structured, evidence-based, and integrative treatment approach with a focus on sustainable results.
To strengthen our medical team, we are looking for a professionally competent and committed medical professional for the role of Senior Consultant.
Your profile at a glance
- Specialist title in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (or equivalent qualification) with MEBEKO recognition
- Ideally, a practising licence in the Canton of Lucerne or the requirements to obtain one
- Clinical experience in addiction medicine and/or the treatment of comorbid mental disorders
- Excellent English skills (C2), additional languages are an advantage
Your tasks
- Independent psychiatric and psychotherapeutic diagnosis, treatment, and progress assessment of patients according to current scientific guidelines
- Diagnosis, therapy, and documentation of psychiatric illnesses and internal comorbidities according to prior consultation
- Creation and management of individualised treatment plans as well as progress assessmentRegular clinical visits to ensure treatment quality
- Participation in on-call duties
- Ensuring medication management and the proper operation of the in-house medical pharmacy
- Close exchange within the interdisciplinary team with shared responsibility for treatment outcomes
- Coordination with external partners (especially acute hospitals for withdrawal, stabilization, and somatic assessments)
- Application of evidence-based treatment elements including neuromodulatory procedures (TMS, tDCS)Participation in the further development of clinical standards, processes, and outcome orientation
