About the job

Your main tasks will be as follows:

• Issue favourable, partially favourable or unfavourable opinions concerning the proposed treatment plans and the corresponding medical-dental or technical-dental services; 
• Determine the nature and amount of medical-dental or technical-dental services eligible for reimbursement by the paying organisations; 
• Participate in the medical control of social dental expenses by selecting simple, appropriate and economical medical and technical services within the framework of the cantonal reference system.

Your assets:

• Doctorate in dental medicine or Swiss dentist diploma or MEBEKO recognised diploma; 
• Minimum 5 years of professional practice as a dentist;
• Knowledge and good command of the MEDIDENT-VD software and Office tools; 
• Good command of French both written and spoken is required, English is an asset;
• Analytical and synthetic thinking; 
• Good interpersonal and writing skills; 
• Autonomy and ability to work in a team; 
• Good knowledge of and active involvement in the Vaud socio-health network.
