About the job

• You lead research and development projects together with our lecturers and scientific staff with a focus on applied cyber security in the OT area
• You are active in project implementation, take responsibility as project manager, and independently work on research questions in which you develop, refine, and implement innovative concepts and solution proposals for our industry partners
• You support the research team in acquiring new projects and in supervising doctoral students in collaboration with our university partners
• You assist in the supervision of our laboratories in the area of OT and quantum security
• You supervise student project and bachelor theses; further involvement in teaching or continuing education can be arranged

• Ideally, you have a PhD in computer science or a related field, but at least a master's degree
• You can independently lead projects and have experience in the practical implementation of research projects
• You have research experience and deep knowledge in OT (Operational Technology) security and publications in this field
• Knowledge in network technology, quantum-secure cryptography, and (script) programming complement your profile
• You have good analytical and conceptual skills and the ambition to develop innovative systems to industrial maturity
• You speak German and English and enjoy working success-oriented in an interdisciplinary team
• You actively contribute to a self-organized team
