Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of common areas, including stairs, halls, corridors, windows and ceiling lights
- Clean and disinfect student rooms, ensuring their good condition and comfort
- Maintain offices and classrooms to provide a clean and pleasant working environment
- Ensure regular and thorough cleaning of sanitary facilities to guarantee optimal hygiene conditions
- Manage the maintenance, washing and storage of linen and uniforms according to current standards
- Properly handle cleaning machines and equipment, respecting usage instructions
- Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and report any anomalies or breakdowns
- Apply good sorting and recycling practices to reduce the environmental impact of cleaning activities
- Immediately report any encountered problems (damage, defective equipment, incident, etc.) to the responsible persons
- Perform a thorough cleaning of premises at the end of each semester for a complete restoration of spaces
- Strictly apply hygiene and safety rules to ensure a healthy and secure environment for all
- Supervise and oversee students during their practical housekeeping workshop, ensuring their learning of hotel maintenance standards and procedures
- Evaluate and monitor student performance by recording their assessments, absences and progress, while providing constructive feedback to support their professional development
- Maintain close collaboration with Rooms Division instructors, ensuring smooth communication and effective follow-up to guarantee pedagogical coherence and alignment of practical learning with academic requirements
- Provide operational support across different campuses as needed
Profile and experience:
- Completed compulsory schooling
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level)
- Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance of premises (hotel, residence, school, offices, hospitals, etc.)
- Experience in training young people
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols and hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with other departments
- Driving licence is an asset
