The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. In the Ebnet house, right in the centre of Herisau, there are 48 rooms or apartments spread over three floors. The proximity to the village centre enables diverse relationships inside and outside the house.
Assistant Health and Social Care 40 - 70 %
We are looking for an experienced, independent and calm personality with a heart for our residents for the Ebnet location, starting immediately or by arrangement, as
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You support our residents in their daily activities and respond respectfully to their needs.
- You independently and reliably take on nursing and care tasks within your competencies – in the early and late shifts until 21:15, between Monday and Sunday.
- You sensitively accompany our residents through everyday life and support their well-being.
- You pay attention to changes and pass on important observations to the team and report to the person responsible for the day.
- You work appreciatively in the team and contribute to positive collaboration.
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as an Assistant Health and Social Care or as a Nursing Assistant and have several years of professional experience in long-term care.
- You work independently, reliably and responsibly and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
- You enjoy and care deeply about respectful and empathetic interaction with elderly people.
- You have good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2) and can communicate confidently and professionally.
- You are a committed team player and contribute with your appreciative manner to a pleasant and family-like atmosphere.
