For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Geneva a dynamic and motivated Cyber Security Tester.
You will be the security reference inside the development teams building our protection relay platform, which integrates PLC functions and protocol-gateway capabilities for railway substations. The product runs on a Yocto-based Linux system.
Your mission: ensure conformity with IEC 62443-4-2, challenge the application of IEC 62443-4-1 in the development workflow, and help the teams establish a robust security-testing process aligned with agile sprints.
Main tasks:
- Drive security conformity testing for IEC 62443-4-2 across the product.
- Design, deploy, and maintain your own testing tools, scripts, and procedures.
- Produce structured reports and evidence for internal reviews and certification activities.
- Participate directly in development sprints, bringing security input into day-to-day discussions and decisions.
- Challenge and support the implementation of IEC 62443-4-1 practices within engineering teams.
- Contribute to building a repeatable workflow for security testing across the product lifecycle.
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity testing or equivalent experience with industrial or embedded products.
- Ability to work autonomously: deploying tools, automating checks, setting up test environments.
- Comfortable reviewing and interpreting security requirements and norms (IEC 62443 family, or similar).
- Scripting skills for automation (Python or equivalent).
- Strong communication and collaboration mindset, especially within agile development flows.
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, preferably with a minor on Cyber Security
- Hands-on experience with industrial or embedded systems
- Practical experience applying security standards (IEC 62443 or similar)
- Proven experience building a custom testing bench and related tooling scripts (Python or equivalent)
- Proven collaboration with a development team
- Professional English, with willingness to learn French fluently.
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial protocols or railway-related systems.
- Experience with test of RADIUS, PKI, TPM, Secure boot technologies
- Familiarity with embedded hardware test setups.
- Solid understanding of Linux-based systems; Yocto experience is a plus.
