About the job
We are looking for a social pedagogue for our school in Winterthur from 1 August 2026 who will lead a small class together with a class teacher.
What are our advantages?
You are part of a highly committed team that wholeheartedly dedicates itself to the well-being of the children entrusted to them.
You work in an interdisciplinary team consisting of social pedagogues, teachers, and experienced learning facilitators. You do not work alone – exchange, mutual support, and a warm community characterise our daily routine.
United by our shared values, we pull together and use the flexible environment of the private school for the ongoing development of the school. Together, we continuously further our education through regular supervisions, internal and external training offers.
It is important to us that children and young people can grow not only academically but also emotionally and socially. We create an environment that provides security, orientation, and development.
Have we piqued your interest?
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jenny Baumann at jebaumann@salzh.ch.
What can you expect?
10 pupils whom you will lead together with a teacher.
A personal school building at Zeughausstrasse 54 in Winterthur, where you work in a fixed class team and support the children holistically – in various subject areas, everyday life, and their individual development.
What we wish from you
You are committed, organised, and accompany children/young people in a small class with clarity and heart.
Your main task is to lead a small class of 10 pupils together with a class teacher, actively contributing to the design of the educational daily routine. You enjoy imparting knowledge to children and young people.
You help to create a preventive, development-promoting framework for the children and young people.
You enjoy a flexible and versatile school with private sponsorship.
What you bring
You have a recognised qualification in social pedagogy or work pedagogy (a practical initial profession is an advantage), an interest in and enjoyment of practical work with pupils, as well as imparting knowledge in traditional school subjects.
You can build trustful relationships with pupils and thus create a positive learning environment.
Ideally, you bring experience from the field of special education.
