This is what you bring
- a university of applied sciences degree / bachelor in social work
- extensive social law knowledge, as well as medical-psychiatric oriented knowledge
- additional qualification in social insurance law is a big plus
- You are resilient, reliable, and have strong organizational skills
- Ideally, you have experience in psychiatry
- good oral knowledge of German and French
This is what you can look forward to
- You plan and coordinate support measures in the core areas of work, housing, budget, law, and migration and implement them
- You provide psychosocial support in acute crises and prepare follow-up care
- You support our inpatient patients in social insurance law matters
- In your daily work, you collaborate closely with authorities (e.g., adult and child protection authorities and social welfare offices) as well as legal and specialized services (e.g., counseling centers, outpatient services)

Who are we?
Psychiatry Biel is a unit of the Münsingen Psychiatric Center. It is based at the Biel Hospital Center and operates a crisis intervention ward and an outpatient clinic there.
