Job Description
In this varied position, you will develop the products of tomorrow as part of a forward-looking and motivated team. Specifically, this means:
- Active participation in the development of new abrasive and binder systems – from the idea to series production – in interdisciplinary, agile development teams
- Conducting experiments, adjusting formulations, and producing product samples in the field of resin, adhesive, and dispersion systems
- Systematic investigation of the relationships between design, process parameters, and abrasive properties
- Close collaboration with production as well as accompanying and monitoring trial, pilot, and production runs
- Support in analyzing and solving manufacturing problems as well as handling customer complaints
Qualifications
- Completed training as a laboratory technician with several years of professional experience, ideally in product development of coatings (e.g., paints, varnishes, resin systems, adhesives)
- Interest in a versatile activity that combines classic laboratory work, practical development tasks, and project-related coordination and documentation work within a project team
- Independent, structured working style with high personal responsibility and strong team orientation
- Experience or interest in systematic troubleshooting and optimization in development and production
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
