Project Manager (m/f/d) Climate Education for the Schools Team 80-100% at the Zurich location
Your tasks:
- You develop and are responsible for educational offers in the field of climate education – from conception through project and quality management to implementation at schools and other educational institutions.
- You lead the further development of a project for schools/educational institutions focusing on training for entire teams and work on establishing the offer as a viable and effective product.
- You take on project management for at least one project in the school sector and ensure that content, schedule, quality and stakeholders are well coordinated.
- You support schools (pupils, teachers, school teams) and other educational institutions in their sustainable development and assist them in anchoring climate protection and ESD in the long term.
- You design and implement training and further education formats for teachers and educational professionals and conduct training with teacher teams.
- You actively acquire schools and educational institutions for our offers, take on their approach and acquisition and design target group-appropriate communication with relevant stakeholders.
- You maintain and expand strategic partnerships, especially with pedagogical universities and other educational institutions, and use these for the further development of our offers.
Your profile:
- You have a completed higher education degree or advanced vocational training as well as several years of relevant professional experience.
- You bring experience in managing educational projects and project management of educational or social projects and know the Swiss education system as well as relevant networks.
- You have sound knowledge in the climate field and education for sustainable development.
- You have experience in the conception and implementation of training and further education formats – ideally with and for educational institutions; experience as a teacher is an advantage.
- You work in a structured, implementation-strong and result-oriented manner, keep an overview even in dynamic situations and pragmatically bring ideas into implementation.
- You communicate clearly and appropriately for the target audience, enjoy working in a team and appear open, proactive and reliable.
- You show willingness to implement the offers throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
- You speak fluent German; other languages are a plus.
