Nursery Manager at 100%

About the job

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a nursery manager passionate about plants, with good commercial sense and who enjoys team management.

Your training: Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a horticulturist-nurseryman/nurserywoman, landscaper, or equivalent professional experience in the field.

Your main responsibilities

• Coordinate plant orders for the nursery sector with our various suppliers and calculate sales prices
• Create items in our computer software and prepare sales labels
• Ensure the reception, labelling, watering and placement of plants
• Advise and serve customers, as well as take their orders
• Ensure the presentation, enhancement and maintenance of the nursery sector
• Supervise and coordinate a team of 2 to 5 employees within the nursery sector
• Cover for the store manager in their absence

Your profile

• CFC as a horticulturist-nurseryman/nurserywoman, landscaper or equivalent training/experience
• Very good knowledge of plants
• Experience in managing nursery plant orders
• Strong interest in sales and customer advice
• Good interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude
• Team spirit and sense of responsibility
• Ability to supervise and motivate a small team
• Good command of IT tools

We offer you

• A permanent contract
• A 100% workload (+ work on certain Sundays and public holidays in spring)
• Working hours from Monday to Friday, with Saturday off
• Start date early February 2027 or to be agreed
