As part of the realignment of our digitalisation initiatives in the area of Project Execution & Engineering (PE), we are looking for an experienced leader to head Process/Data Management & Digitalisation. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for the organisational unit. You will work closely with a second leader who, as technical lead, is responsible for architecture, system landscape, interfaces and technical solution concepts. Together, you will ensure that processes, data, tools and technologies are consistently aligned to a coordinated target vision and effectively implemented in PE.
As head, you will be responsible for the strategic, organisational and operational management of the Process/Data Management & Digitalisation unit in PE. You will act as a connecting element between departments, process owners and IT/OT-related topics. You will provide guidance, structure complexity and ensure that digitalisation in the area makes a measurable contribution to efficiency, quality and transparency.
Your new tasks
- Overall responsibility for the Process/Data Management & Digitalisation area in PE including resource planning, budgeting and portfolio management
- Building, leading and further developing an interdisciplinary team of process, data and digitalisation experts
- Developing and maintaining a target vision for processes, data and digitalisation in line with the corporate strategy
- Close collaboration with the technical lead (architecture, interfaces, system landscape) to ensure integrated end-to-end solutions
- Standardisation and harmonisation of cross-departmental processes along the value chain in Project Execution
- Definition and establishment of governance, guidelines and decision-making structures for process and data management
- Initiation, management and leadership of digitalisation and automation initiatives with clear business benefits
- Active networking with departments, IT, external partners and management committees
Your profile
- Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5–7 years) in process and data management, digitalisation or IT project management – ideally in a technically complex environment
- Leadership experience in organisational units or larger projects with personnel responsibility
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as pronounced problem-solving competence
- Ability to present complex issues clearly and appropriately for the audience
- Communication and presentation skills in German and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to actively shape change, inspire employees and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
