IT Project Manager
The Projects and IT Department in the General Secretariat of the Building Department serves as a central hub for over 2,000 employees of the Directorate. To temporarily strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced individual who drives IT initiatives forward in a structured manner, develops processes and responsibilities together with those involved, and successfully implements changes.
Your tasks
- Leading IT (sub-) projects and organisational initiatives
- Responsible for costs, deadlines, quality, and achieving objectives
- Analysing business processes and requirements and developing viable solutions together with stakeholders
- Gathering and structuring requirements as well as moderating differing interests
- Promoting a solution-oriented and binding collaboration with project participants
Your profile
- Tertiary education at FH/HF level (e.g. in business informatics, business administration)
- Several years of experience in managing demanding projects
- Experience in analysing and designing business processes as well as in process design
- Analytical and conceptual skills combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality
- Strong decision-making ability and interconnected thinking

About us
The General Secretariat (GS) is the hub between the six offices of the Building Department. In addition to central tasks in finance, IT, personnel, and communication, it is also responsible for statements on political initiatives, consultations, and the coordination of legislative projects. Furthermore, GS employees handle supervisory complaints and appeals against decisions of the offices and resolutions of municipalities. Another area of activity is the implementation of environmental protection within the administration and the coordination of environmental impact assessments for major construction projects.
