Role:
Our client is an internationally active Swiss medical technology company specialising in the development and manufacture of high-quality diagnostic devices and instruments for ophthalmology. With innovative technologies and precise solutions, the company supports medical professionals worldwide in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of eye diseases.

Responsibilities:
You regularly prepare the group financial reports in Cognos and ensure a reliable data basis for corporate management.
You act as the central contact person for the systems for invoice processing and expenses and support their digital development.
You ensure the correct management of the asset accounting and assist with periodic closings as well as the annual financial statements.
You analyse financial key figures, prepare complex matters clearly, and derive relevant recommendations for action.
You work closely with the finance management, represent the Director of Finance during absences, and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting guidelines and processes.
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in commercial or business administration, supplemented by further training in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification.
You have several years of experience in accounting.
You possess very good Excel skills, a strong numerical understanding, and a careful, independent working style.
You communicate flawlessly in German both written and spoken.
