Subject Teacher WAH at Lower Secondary Level I, approx. 60% workload (School Unit Altstadt - Gega School)

We are looking for you!

We are the three school buildings Secondary and Realschule Gelbhausgarten and the Secondary School Am Bach in the heart of the city of Schaffhausen.

As a subject teacher, you will complete our WAH team and teach students from both the secondary and the Realschule, even the Realschule small class. The group size is a maximum of 12 young people, and for the small class, it is only 6-9. Your workplace is the newly renovated and top-equipped school kitchens in the Gega school building.

• Completed teaching diploma for Lower Secondary Level I or interest in participating in R4T (Ready for Teaching)
• Enjoyment in working with our young people
• Communicative and motivated personality
• Willingness to actively help shape the school

You are a cheerful, talented teacher who is also interested in school development and team-building processes beyond teaching activities. With your commitment, you significantly contribute to shaping the future of our school children.

The approx. 60% position consists of the following lessons

• 6 lessons WAH 1 (practical cooking) in the 1st secondary at Bach
• 3 lessons WAH 1 in the 1st Realschule Gega and
• 4 lessons WAH 1 in the 1st Realschule small class (for these lessons, a colleague is also teaching the second half of the class in parallel, so exchange or collaboration is easily possible.)
• 4 lessons WAH 2 (theory), 2 + 2 lessons in parallel classes
• Additionally, the paid team hour, which totals 18 lessons.
• If you are interested in additional lessons, 3 lessons of the profile subject "Cooking with Joy" for the 3rd upper level could also be taken over. This would bring you to a workload of 70%.
• The timetable is designed so that participation in R4T is possible.
