Job Description
As an application technician for wood fibre insulation materials, you advise our customers on technical issues and develop practical solutions for the application of our products. You also conduct training sessions and work closely with quality assurance and product development.
Your Tasks
- Technical advice and support for our customers (carpenters, timber construction companies, architects and dealers) in the application of our wood fibre insulation materials
- Developing application-technical detailed solutions and system recommendations for the building envelope (roof, wall, ceiling)
- Conducting product training and practical seminars for customers as well as internal staff
- Interface between market, quality assurance and product development for continuous optimisation of our range
- Preparation of technical documents, processing guidelines and manuals
- Handling complaints and damage analyses on site
Your Skills and Experience
- Basic training in timber construction (e.g. carpenter, timber construction technician HF) or comparable technical education
- Further training in building physics, insulation technology or timber construction is an advantage
- Solid practical and application knowledge in the processing of insulation materials
- Strong communication skills, high service orientation and enjoyment of customer contact
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Good IT user skills (MS Office, ideally CAD/timber construction programmes)
- Willingness to travel, mainly within Switzerland
