Your Tasks
As a specialist for all work on the power grid, you are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of cable and overhead lines, switching and transformer stations, as well as public lighting. Whether in the city or in the countryside, you are almost daily on the move and working outdoors - in summer as well as in winter. You will thus discover the whole world of electrical energy and can boldly explore new paths. Despite technical aids, you often work hands-on yourself and independently find a way to solve problems. To minimize risks in your challenging work, you learn the safe handling of tools and machines.
Whether in the cable trench or on the overhead line masts: as a network electrician, you mostly work in a team. Good cooperation and mutual trust are required.
What You Bring
- Secondary school or intermediate school diploma with good mathematical skills
- Good technical understanding and German level of at least B2 at the start of the apprenticeship
- Enjoyment of manual work and working outdoors
- Reliable and enjoy working in a team
