Job Description
The Accounting and Financial Management Division, attached to the Rectorate, wishes to complete its team within the fixed assets unit, and is looking for a fixed assets accounting manager at 80-90% for a fixed-term contract.
The postholder will be mainly responsible for the following tasks:
- Manage the fixed assets accounting of the University of Geneva, as well as the related budgets
- Prepare financial reports related to fixed assets
- Carry out periodic internal controls related to fixed assets
- Check inventories
- Perform routine administrative activities
- Manage the supplier database
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification
- 3 years of professional experience in accounting and finance
- Experience with accounting software (SAP and Ariba are assets)
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Accuracy, ease with numbers
- Good interpersonal skills and written and oral communication
